Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data the silly app ("silly", "we", "us") collects when you use it, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have — including deleting your account and data.

silly is intended for users aged 18 and over.

How we use your data

To operate core app features — profile display, Discover matching, connection requests, chat, events and tickets.
To manage your account and authenticate you.
To send you notifications about requests, messages and events.
To prevent fraud, abuse, and enforce our safety policies (including our Child Safety Standards).

We do not use your data for advertising, and the app does not contain third-party ads or an advertising ID.

Who we share data with

We use the following service providers to run the app. They process your data only to provide their service to us, under their own security and privacy commitments — we do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging) — hosts your account and app data, and delivers push notifications.
Cloudinary — hosts profile photos.

Other users of the app can see the profile information you choose to make visible (name, photo, age, gender, city, bio, interests), and can see messages you send them in chat.

Data security

All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the app and our servers. Sensitive operations — payments, wallet balance, connection request status — are validated server-side and cannot be altered directly by a client device.

Your choices

Edit or remove profile info anytime from Profile → Edit Profile.
Block or report another user from their profile or your chat with them (Settings → Privacy & Safety → Blocked Users to manage blocks).
Delete your account and data anytime from Profile → Delete Account, or via our account deletion page if you no longer have the app installed.

Children's privacy

silly is not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. See our Child Safety Standards for how we handle and report child safety concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
