Child Safety Standards

Who can use silly

silly is restricted to users aged 18 and over. Account creation requires phone number verification (OTP), and users must confirm their date of birth during onboarding. Accounts found to belong to a minor, or created with false age information, are permanently removed as soon as they are identified.

Our standards

• We do not permit any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers minors.
• We do not permit any user, verified or not, to solicit, share or request child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — text, image, video or link.
• We do not permit adults to use silly to groom, contact or arrange to meet minors.
• Accounts, content and conversations connected to CSAE are removed immediately upon discovery, and the associated account is permanently banned.
• Where required by applicable law, we report identified CSAM and CSAE activity to the relevant law enforcement and regulatory authorities, including India's National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and, where applicable, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC).

How to report a concern

You can report a child safety concern in two ways:

1. In the app — open the profile or chat of the user in question, tap the ⋮ menu → Report, and select "Underage user / child safety concern" as the reason. This routes the report to our safety team as an urgent priority.
2. By email — write to our designated child safety contact at info@sillyindia.online with as much detail as you can (username, phone number if known, screenshots).

If you believe a child is in immediate danger, contact local law enforcement or India's Childline at 1098 first.
